TRAIN STUDENT FARE CARD
A train student fare card enables 16 to 18 year old Surrey students attending full-time further education to buy season tickets at half the adult rate for their home to school/college train journey. Season tickets are available for periods of 7 days (minimum), 1 month and between 1 month and 1 year.
Child rate single and return tickets are ONLY available after 16.00hrs and anytime at weekends for leisure journeys. These cannot be used for travel to/from school/college.
To qualify you must fulfil ALL of the following:
- Live in one of the 11 boroughs/districts of Surrey
- Elmbridge
- Epsom & Ewell
- Guildford
- Mole Valley
- Reigate & Banstead
- Runnymede
- Spelthorne
- Surrey Heath
- Tandridge
- Waverley
- Woking
- Attend a full-time further education course and be aged 16 but under 19 on 1 September 2009.
- Your start, finish and transfer (via) stations must all be listed below. The journey must start and / or finish in the administrative county of Surrey, at one of the 83 stations below in bold and be made via the rail lines specified in the map (Network of train routes in the scheme)

You will need to complete an application form and send it with a photograph and a cheque or postal order for £10.00 made payable to SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL to the Student Fare Card Team (address below) by the following dates to ensure collection from your school or college within the timescales stated.

Student Fare Cards are valid from 1 September 2009.
Applications for the current academic year (2008-2009) will not be accepted beyond 12 June 2009.
