A BIG THANK YOU FROM SSTP

Thank you to all those students that filled in the SSTP transport survey.

Back in November 2007, the SSTP sent out 30,000 surveys to Schools and Colleges in Surrey. The aim of the survey was to identify how students travel to their school or college and if they were aware of the transport assistance services available from Surrey County Council. The results of the survey will enable the partnership to make improvements in provision of transport, information and assistance.

We are pleased to announce the winner of the Sony Cyber Shot digital camera is Jenny Ball from Farnham College.

We met up with Jenny at Farnham College to give her the prize and we twisted her arm to let us take this picture of her holding her new camera, so thank you Jenny for your help!

REROUTING OF THE 807 FARNHAM COLLEGE SERVICE

The 807 service is rerouting from the 3 January 2006. The service will now run from Tongham to Farnham College. The service is still being operated by AMK and managed by the East Surrey Rural Transport Partnership (ESRTP). The distinctive low floor wheelchair accessible SSTP minibus will still be used. The service will incorporate the following areas:

• Tongham
• Ash
• Badshot Lea
• Weybourne
• Heath End
• Sandy Hill
• Folly Hill
• Farnham

Please be aware that as of October 6 2008 there will be fare increases on the 807 and Farnham DRT service.  See leaflet below for further information.

The SSTP bus is also used to provide a Demand Responsive Transport (DRT) service during off peak hours. This DRT service started on the 5 September 2005. The Farnham DRT service can be used by everyone in the community for travel into Farnham for getting to college, the shops, railway station, healthcare or any other reason.
